Exciting time for me. Hubby graduated from pilot training and got his wings yesterday :):):)
His parents and brother were able to come into town, so my days have been busy with prepping the house for them, getting hubby’s graduation gift ready, spending time with family, going to all of the graduation festivities, etc.
Now it’s all over and the family is all gone; it’s kind of sad. But that’s okay, life will be exciting over the next several months while we get ready to move to Cali đŸ˜‰
Here’s what I’ve been up to lately:
I bought a pretty leather jacket at the Nordstrom sale and got all excited and instagrammed it…next day I changed my mind and returned it. HAHA! It wasn’t quite perfect, so I am still on the hunt!
For hubby’s formal graduation dinner, after a while of searching I finally gave up on finding a dress I liked (ie liked enough to be worth the money) so instead I wore an old LBD and bought this nice clutch, some cute shoes and jewelry đŸ™‚ Oh, and got my nails done
Another nail pic. I was distraught after getting them done because I have never been much of a nail person and these cost me $50. These are pretty nails, but next time I will save my $50 and buy some shoes
Hubby’s graduation gift in my favorite pink and gold wrapping paper and twine. I made him a photo book and on every page is a note from one of the guys in his class, kind of like a yearbook. I thought it would be a good present to help him reminisce down the road
