Remember the crispy version of M&M’s®? I think these things came out when I was in middle school and everyone was completely obsessed with them. I had this one friend who was especially obsessed, she was this girl who was cousins with Mark McGrath. Remember the lead singer of Sugar Ray?? Ah, the memories! So whenever Sugar Ray was popular, that’s when M&M’s® Crispy were out, haha.
It’s so exciting that they’re back! M&M’s® has really been upping their game lately; I love the lower calorie count (180 cal.s in an individual bag), that they’re carrying both bigger and smaller bags, and also all the flavor variations they have out right now. I grabbed these while in the self-checkout line at Walmart and even saw a birthday cake M&M’s® flavor, cool!
Since they remind me of the good ol’ days, I was inspired to make a recipe with classic flavors: a Blondie base, peanut butter cream on top, and sprinkled with M&M’s® Crispy for their yummy crunchy texture.
