Easter Dirt Cups

Uncategorized March 25, 2015

I taught kids for a long time and honestly loved it. It was so much fun making treats for them every week and trying to think of creative games to teach them through. It’s been a while since I’ve done a kid treat, so I put together an easy to make dessert that would be fun for kids to create themselves.

Did anyone else love dirt cups when they were kids?? They were my faaav. So here is my very simple Easter variation of a dirt cup, complete with customizable mini eggs hehe. Since all kids love Snack Packs (reference Billy Madison) I made them right inside Snack Pack cups. That way they are also portable and have easy open lids for the wee ones. My Walmart had a million Snack Pack variations, but in this recipe I used the SUPER Snack Packs that are a little taller than regular ones and have a comfortable 6 cups each (also this COUPON helps).

So there ya go. In other news, I can’t believe Easter is already almost here. I love Easter because it’s in the Spring and my birthday is around the same time.  Do you guys have any Easter treats/traditions that you love??

P.S. More cool Snack Pack mix in ideas HERE.

Easter Dirt Cups
Makes 12 cups

  • 1 chocolate Super Snack Pack (6 cups)
  • 1 vanilla Super Snack Pack (6 cups)
  • 6-7 Honey Maid graham crackers
  • 12 Oreos
  • candy-coated chocolate mini eggs
  • edible color markers

Directions:

Place your graham crackers in a food processor and process until they’re reduced to even crumbs. Place a scoop on top of each vanilla Snack Pack cup. Do the same with the Oreos and scoop onto your chocolate puddings. Have fun decorating your candy eggs with the markers, and garnish your cups with them. Enjoy!
