So these pics were taken a couple of weekends ago in Napa. It’s our favorite place to go eat and I always say that you can never go wrong there; we would do a different restaurant every time and were never disappointed. But we unexpectedly have actually found a favorite! Ad Hoc is one of a few restaurants by Thomas Keller in the area and we’ve done repeat visits there, it’s amazing. Even the things that don’t sound that special (eg pudding with sugared donuts? I could make that myself) are somehow wonderful and I definitely could NOT make them myself. So big recommend to them, but it’s pricey so save it for a special occasion.
When we went this time it wasn’t necessarily a special occasion but I still wanted to look nice so I picked up a new dress from The Shopping Bag. If you haven’t heard of them, they are a lovely boutique with clothing and jewelry but also some really great housewares.
