Holiday Secret Santa

Uncategorized December 21, 2015

Recently I did a fun little Secret Santa activity with ASOS. I was assigned a blogger to shop for and given all of her size info and preferences so that I could hopefully pick out something she likes. My blogger was Amanda over at Fashion, Love, and Martinis. I had so much fun non-creepily stalking her blog and Instagram trying to get a feel for her style, which I think is quite similar to my own. Sure hope she likes the items I chose!

My own Secret Santa turned out to be Megan at Greetings from Texas. She picked this white longline shirt for me. If you can tell in the photos, it is quite long and looks like it can be worn like a shirt dress, but the fit is like a smock (more fitted at the top and very wide at the bottom), so it definitely needs something under it if you don’t want your panties showing when the wind blows O.O. Since it’s the holidays I tucked it into a sequin skirt and I quite like how office-appropriate I look~

It’s so fun sometimes to step outside your typical choices and style something new. I was so excited to receive my Secret Santa package in the mail and found that I like the versatility of this top. What do you think? Are you doing any Secret Santa activities this holiday?

Note on the shirt sizing: Normally I wear size Small in tops so that they are just a little bit loose, but because this is boyfriend style, I would recommend XS like the model is wearing.

Hi there! I stumbled on you blog through Fabes Fashion. I love your skirt and your secret santa did a great job with the shirt. If you get a chance it would be great if you stopped by my fashion link up and added this post. I think my readers would love your style as much as I do!

That Secret Santa assignment sounds like so much fun, and what a great pick from your Secret Santa. One can never have too many white shirts, and I really like how you pair it with that sequin skirt. I've been traveling most of December, so I didn't have the time to be a Secret Santa, but when I was in school, this was something we did each year. Merry Christmas!

I love this! So so cute!! 🙂 Sequins are so fun, and I love the brighter cheerier neutrals you have here. What a great secret santa idea. I don't think I am doing anything like that this year, but they are so fun! 🙂 XO -Alexandra

This Secret Santa thing is a great idea! I'm just quite disappointed when I receive something I didn't want during our exchange gifts in school knowing that we have a wishlist already 🙁 Anyway, I love your top. I agree with the versatility. You can even wear that as a summer dress 🙂

Wishing you an Advance Merry Christmas! 🙂
