Memorial Day

Uncategorized May 26, 2014

My hubs and I are both blessed to come from military families. I always feel gratitude to my Grampy who lost his leg in WWII and my own father who served in the Army for 22 years. Both suffer from PTSD and I am grateful for theirs and their families’ service and sacrifice, as well as those who serve around the world. Special shout out to my brother-in-law who just started a 10-month deployment.

Today, though, I’m especially grateful to those who have laid down their lives for the cause of freedom. Taking some time out to show them respect.

Happy Memorial Day all.
