San Fran City Guide with Rhone Workout Apparel

Uncategorized March 30, 2015

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are of course my own đŸ™‚ #RhoneFever #CollectiveBias

Meet my hubby: six foot, chiseled features, body of a Greek god. Haha just kidding.
My hubs is a swimmer, wrestler, mountain biker, combatives instructor and gym addict. And me, well…I like to eat. Haha but really, I don’t do any of those things, so back when we were dating we found common ground in rock climbing (I prefer inside, he prefers outside) and I remember I used to pretend that I enjoyed longboarding, though I’m terrible at it hehe. Oh, the things you do for love đŸ˜‰
These days one thing we love to do is take our bikes wherever we go, especially down to my favorite city San Francisco. We did a little bike date there recently and so I put together this small guide of just a few of of our favorite spots if you are planning a future Bay Area trip.

Aaaand I picked up hubby some new threads not long before our San Fran excursion. Being the gym addict that he is, workout clothes are always a safe bet. But I like Rhone Apparel because their stuff is meant to look good outside the gym as well. Kinda like my beloved yoga pants that I wear 24/7, hehe. Hubby is in comfy workout clothes 80% of the time anyways so I figure it’s better to invest in comfy workout clothes that keep him lookin’ good. Rhone is nice because every piece is great quality and breathable so that hubs is not sweat-stained going from the gym to wherever.

Anyone else find their man in workout clothes 24/7?

Golden Gate Park:
This park is ginormous and has so much to offer. When I was training for the San Fran Nike Half Marathon, I thought I had seen most of the park including: waterfalls and bison. But no. There is a beautiful Japanese tea garden and so much more. Seriously a great place to rent/ride a bike.

Pakwan in the Mission:
Most of our favorite spots are in the Mission district, and our favorite restaurant is a little Indian spot called Pakwan. Best. Indian. Ever. Hubby always does the lamb shank and it’s amazing.
Also in the area: check out Tartine Bakery and Dandelion Chocolate.

Bi-Rite Creamery:
This place always has a line but it’s 100% worth the wait. Think: creme brulee ice cream with actual caramelized sugar chunks, or cinnamon ice cream with Snickerdoodles mixed in. I like to try new flavors every time, but hubby always gets his favorite which is honey lavender.
