Hubby and I spent part of our weekend in the gorgeous Santa Cruz. The Santa Cruz Boardwalk is an amusement park right on the beach and I couldn’t imagine anything better. On our way to the park we strolled by some sunbathing sea lions and a beach volleyball tournament. And at the boardwalk we rode the gondola, passed by funnel cakes and “Texas donuts” as big as my head, and played carnival games. Hubby said he wasn’t good at those games but he won me a Hello Kitty doll right off the bat! And then later he did a baseball throw game and won me a big Minion doll! Haha my hubs is such a man, I’m so proud of my stuffed dolls lol! Also, we only did one ride but hubby was able to smuggle the camera onto it so that he could snag one of the photos below. Hehe.
While we were planning this trip I found these shoes at Famous Footwear and was so excited because I feel like they are perfect boardwalk shoes. Agree?! I almost made hubby get similar shoes from there so we could be matchy-matchy. Anyone else love doing couple wear with their man? Or is it just me…?
