LA Eats: Larchmont Bungalow

Uncategorized September 30, 2015

This time around in LA the Air BnB we stayed at was legit. The guy was in film and his whole house was full of cool collections. After seeing my Hello Kitty laptop case, he led us to the Hello Kitty section of his house and told us about a spot he did for the Hello Kitty airplane. He and his girlfriend also supplied us a list of restaurants in the area and mentioned Larchmont Bungalow as possibly their favorite in all of LA. So we gave it a shot and liked it enough we ended up going twice 🙂 Definitely a big recommend for brunch in LA.

What you should get:

Red Velvet Waffles. They are known for their red velvet pancakes and waffles, which didn’t appeal to me because it sounds like eating cake for breakfast. But they were not too sweet and delish.

Seafood Omelet. So good.

Orange Juice. Lots of people were just coming in to grab their freshly made orange juice and lemonade, so yummy.

Latkes and Lox. Hubby really liked this~ smoked salmon and poached eggs over non traditional latkes.

Your Air b'n'b experience sounds quite nice, the idea of him leading you to the Hello Kitty part of his home sounds like such an adventure haha 🙂 Also, both the food at this restaurant and your photography of the food is superb!

I use Airbnb whenever I travel and it's always my favorite thing seeing how people decorate their homes. That food looks so delicious!

Sounds like you had an awesome AirBnb host and so cool that he had a Hello Kitty section in his house. Larchmont Blvd is such a nice foodie street. I wanted to visit Larchmont Bungalow, but I never made it further than Salt & Straw (the ice cream store). 🙂

This looks so delicious! I'm wishing I was eating this instead of the tuna fish sandwich I just scarfed down for lunch!
