Bali Copper Kitchen & Bar

Uncategorized November 6, 2015

Remember me talking about the awesome hotel we stayed at in Ubud, Bali, and how we almost didn’t leave it? Lol. The thing is, they have a lovely little restaurant right next to their jungle infinity pool, as well as one of Ubud’s best restaurants upstairs, so you literally have everything you could ever need or want at your fingertips. So who can blame me.

The upstairs Copper Kitchen and Bar has both indoor and outdoor seating but we chose outdoors for obvious reasons…you just can’t beat this view for a romantic evening dinner in paradise. So if you’re planning a trip to Bali, my first recommendation is: spend part of your trip in Ubud, it’s a great central location for getting to many of Bali’s attractions, and stay at Bisma Eight. Or even if you don’t, make sure you stop by the Copper Kitchen and Bar for an amazing dining experience. Here’s what we loved:

The view. Obvi.

Our welcome drink was a cold organic rosemary and lemon ginger tea. It was so refreshing and delicious, to the point that I plan on trying to recreate it somehow.

Creme brulee in an egg shell? Cool.

The scallops! We love a well-made scallop.

The braised pork belly.

They have a really delicious drink menu.

Everything is so beautifully plated and tastes as good as it looks.

I could keep going, but just check out the photos below and their website and you will understand.

Wow this place looks like it's straight out of a movie! I can definitely understand why you didn't want to leave haha. All the dishes look amazing, especially the scallops. I've just bookmarked this page so I can hopefully visit it one day if I'm ever in Bali 🙂 xx

What a beautiful chocolate line-up. That place looks magical. Braised pork belly and scallops are two of those things I always pick, if I see them on the menu:)

That restaurant is so nice. I like how private it looks! All those smaller portions look so exquisite and is that a very fancy version of a s'more?
    Have a cosy weekend 🙂
