DIY Skirt

Uncategorized June 20, 2013

I’m not even going to bother doing a tutorial for my skirt. There are so many on the web already and the way I made it was not the most efficient lol.

I did not use a pattern or follow any tutorials, they just end up confusing me. I am okay making mistakes and having to pull out a few stitches to redo something; that is how I learn best. But here is the blog post that inspired me:

Extra Petite’s Fit and Flare “Dress”

I love her Kate Spade-style “dress,” I think it’s so classy. I couldn’t find a similar material at the store, but I found this white one with a subtle jaqcuard (don’t know if you can see it in the pics).

P.S. This is a start on #15 on my 30 before 30 list: Make an entire outfit from scratch đŸ™‚
