Bali Jungle Hotel: Bisma Eight

Uncategorized October 26, 2015

Since we started our trip on the beach, we also wanted to visit the jungles of Bali. So for the second half of the trip, we made our way up to the inlands of Bali–Ubud. That’s where you will find the monkey forest, and it is a perfect central location for getting to all of Bali’s other attractions like the grand rice terraces, a volcano hike, art districts, hidden waterfalls, etc etc.

Even with all of those attractions at our disposal, as it turned out, our hotel was so amazing that we almost didn’t leave it–true story! Bisma Eight is in a prime Ubud location, but situated just far enough away from the main roads to feel like you are in a lovely little jungle oasis. Huge recommend if you visit Bali.

My favorite parts:

The balcony bar and restaurant give a stunning view of the jungle and rice terraces below. We took all of our meals here and loved watching cute little ducklings wading through the rice terrace water.

The amazing infinity pool. See photo below O.O

The Japanese soaking tub.

The bamboo walkway to the pool is a beautiful photo spot.

The fooooood. Oh, the food. More on that later.

So check out our photos below, and know that you could not find a better hotel. Thanks, Bisma Eight, for an amazing stay!

I had to pick my eyeballs up off the ground. The view by that pool is absolutely stunning. I can see why you rarely left the grounds. Oh. . .and that Japanese soaking tub. . .how cool is that? I can't wait to go to Bali myself.

That's some gorgeous pictures! Looks like you're staying deep inside the jungle (which is not a bad thing with amenities such as an infinity pool and a Japanese tub):):)

Y'know looks-wise I've never met a beach I didn't like. But the sand there and also on Phuket and Koh Tao was really rocky! One day I want to go somewhere with really soft sand~ where are these better beaches you speak of?

Ubud is sooo gorgeous…! I only did a day trip though, a loong time ago…! The hotel is LOVELY!!

What did you think of the beaches in Bali..? I wasn't too fussed tbh… So many nicer beaches elsewhere…!
