Bali Beach Hotel: Sofitel

Uncategorized November 2, 2015

Remember me talking about one of the Top Ten Brunches in the World? Well this is where you can find it! If you travel to Bali I definitely recommend spending part of your trip in the Nusa Dua area. It’s perfect for relaxing and being pampered, and has a seemingly never-ending selection of amazing food. The hotel we stayed at was Sofitel and we loved every. single. second of it.

Here is what you can expect there:

Probably the most friendly and helpful staff I’ve ever encountered.

You’ll be greeted in your room with a lovely array of fruits, champagne (or sparkling water…), and my favorite: a chocolate vine bearing “fruit” in the form of macarons and truffles. Beautiful and delicious.

The most extensive pool I’ve seen: below is a photo from our balcony, and as you can see our wide-angle couldn’t nearly capture all of this glorious water wonderland.

A short walk to the beach and beach restaurant, which was delish and so fun to enjoy at nighttime with the strung lanterns and sound of the waves.

Access to several restaurants inside the hotel that include afternoon tea, the famous weekend brunch (which you should not miss if you travel to Bali!), and my favorite part of every day there: the breakfast buffet. I feel like the word ‘buffet’ tends to have negative connotations to it, like they are just factories that pump out massive amounts of cheap food. But after Sofitel, my feelings on buffets have been very much elevated. I’ll post more on that later, but just know that if you stay here to make sure and get a breakfast package, you will not regret it.

So check out some of our photos below of this awesome resort:

And thanks, Sofitel, for making our time in Bali extra awesome <3

Sofitel really have some amazing resorts. I love when there's fresh fruit waiting for you in the room after you've checked in. It's such a small gesture, but it means so much:)
